SummitScribe respects intellectual property rights. This page describes how to notify us of copyright concerns under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and how we handle user-uploaded content on summitscribe.app (the product) and related apps.

User content

You own the recordings, notes, photos, and other material you upload. You are responsible for having the rights to upload that material. Our Terms of Service prohibit infringing uploads.

Designated agent (DMCA safe harbor)

Service providers may designate an agent to receive copyright notices under 17 U.S.C. § 512. Send DMCA notices and counter-notifications to the contact below.

How to send a DMCA notice

Your written notice should include all items required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
2. Identification of the material you claim is infringing and information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it (for example, a meeting URL, share link, or account email and approximate date).
3. Your contact information (address, telephone, and email).
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Send the notice to info@summitscribe.app with subject DMCA Notice. We may forward a copy to the user who posted the material.

Counter-notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notification that meets 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3) to the same address with subject DMCA Counter-Notification.

Repeat infringers

We may terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, consistent with our Terms.
