Delete your SummitScribe data

This page is for SummitScribe (com.summitscribe.app on Google Play, and summitscribe.app). Use it to request deletion of some or all of your data.

You do not have to close your account to delete individual meetings, photos, or share links.

Delete some data and keep your account

  1. Sign in at summitscribe.app (same account as the Android app).
  2. Open Home / Dashboard.
  3. Open the meeting you want to remove. Use Delete on that meeting.

Deleting a meeting removes that meeting’s recording, transcript, structured notes, photos, clips, and share links for that meeting.

You can also, without deleting the whole meeting:

These changes apply to the same account on the website and in the Android app.

Delete your account and all associated data

  1. Sign in and open Account settings.
  2. Scroll to Danger zone.
  3. Type your email to confirm, then delete the account.

Or email info@summitscribe.app from the address on the account and ask us to delete it.

What is deleted vs kept

You do thisWhat we deleteWhat we may keep
Delete a meeting, photo, clip, or share linkThat item and files tied to itThe rest of your account
Delete your accountAccount identity, recordings, transcripts, notes, photos, clips, and share links, within 30 daysRecords the law requires (for example tax / billing records) until that duty ends; backups until they rotate off the normal cycle

We do not keep a usable copy of your meetings after account deletion just so we can “restore later.” Freezing the account is not deletion.
