Accounts and sign-in

One SummitScribe account works on the website, the Android app, the iOS app, and Windows / Mac / Linux. Sign in the same way on every surface.

Create an account

On /signup:

• Email and password — first name, email, password (8+ characters), confirm password.
• Continue with Google — Google’s sign-in screen, then back to SummitScribe.
• Continue with Apple — Apple’s sign-in screen. You can Hide My Email; we then store an Apple private-relay address.

If you signed up with email, check your inbox to confirm, then use Log in on the verified page. Do not expect to land on Home until you have a session.

Sign in

On /login use the same method you used to sign up. After a successful password sign-in the app does a full page load so your session cookie is on the next request.

Forgot your password? Use Forgot your password? and follow the email.

Android app

The Android app loads the live website. Google and Apple open a system browser for sign-in, then return to the app. If you finish sign-in in Chrome but the app still looks logged out, return to the app from the OAuth screen instead of staying in the browser.

Sign out

Open the avatar menu (top right) → Sign out.

Account settings

Avatar → Account settings, or summitscribe.app/account/profile:

• Profile name (used on exports and the Home greeting)
• Password and email
• Default meeting template
• Notion and OneNote
• Billing
• Data export
• Danger zone (close the account)

Tips

• Use one account. Do not share a login among several people (Terms).
• You must be at least 16.
• Apple Hide My Email is supported. We cannot send mail to a hidden address the same way as a personal inbox if Apple’s relay blocks a sender; sign-in itself still works.
