Offline and Keep offline

SummitScribe is an online product. Offline features exist so a dropped network does not lose a recording or a meeting you marked to keep.

Recording without a network

Browser / Android / iOS: audio segments and notes are held locally and upload when the connection returns.
Desktop agent (Windows, Mac, Linux): audio, notes, and images are disk-first and retry upload on a short interval.

Finish upload before you assume the cloud copy is complete.

Keep offline

On a meeting, Keep offline stores a pack on this device: notes, photos, AI details, transcript. Download audio is optional and separate so you do not fill a phone by accident.

On Android and iOS the pack lives in the app library. On Windows and Mac it follows the desktop offline library. Home can show which meetings are kept.

Open a kept meeting without a network to read the pack. Generating new AI still needs a connection.

Cold start on Android or iOS

If the app opens with no network, you may see a local offline page instead of the live site. Restore a connection and reload for the full product.

Clearing a device

Removing Keep offline (or uninstalling) deletes the local pack. The cloud meeting is unchanged unless you also delete it in the product.
