Your notes are the source of truth. AI cards on Overview are extra. SummitScribe will not overwrite or bury what you typed.

User Notes

The notes editor is rich text (headings, lists, highlights, links). It is on:

The live recording screen
The meeting Overview tab after you stop

Notes save as you work. On long recordings they are held so a stop, a poll, or a processing refresh cannot wipe them.

There are no images inside the text editor. Photos have their own section so they stay reliable.

Photos

On Overview (and live), use Add photo:

Camera — capture from the device camera
Gallery — pick existing images

Photos are resized for upload, stored on your meeting, and shown in a grid. Tap a photo for a lightbox (arrows to move, Escape to close). Trash starts a short undo window (about 6 seconds) before the file is gone.

Vision analysis can read whiteboards and slides: extracted text, key points, decisions, action items. After synthesis, matching items can show a small camera badge so you see they came from an image. Bounding boxes appear when the model returns regions.

Details tab

The Details tab includes a read-only photo analysis view (full vision fields) and destination / artifact panels. Edit notes on Overview; Details is for the structured extras.

Exports and share

Photos from the meeting are included in PDF/DOCX/Markdown and share documents. Your typed notes export as text. See Sharing, clips, and export.
