Sprint Planning
Category: Project Management
Agile sprint planning capture: sprint goal, selected backlog items, capacity, dependencies, definition of done, parking lot, next steps.
When to use this template
Use it for the start-of-sprint planning ceremony in Scrum, or any agile-style meeting that mirrors it (Scrumban, Shape Up cut, etc.). For the end-of-sprint reflection, use Retrospective. For a rolling status between plannings, use Status Update.

- Selected items — the backlog items pulled in: title or id, estimate, assignee, and notes per item.

- Definition of Done notes — any clarifications or additions to the team's DoD this sprint.
- Parking lot — items intentionally deferred to a later sprint.
- Next steps — concrete tasks with optional owner and due date.
