Getting started
SummitScribe captures long meetings without a bot in the call. Your notes (rich text and photos) stay first-class. AI transcription, speaker names, and structured notes are assistants — they never replace what you wrote.
What you need
- A SummitScribe account (email, Google, or Apple).
- A browser for the website, and optionally the Android app, the iOS app, or the Windows / Mac / Linux desktop capture app.
- Consent from everyone you record, where the law requires it. See the Terms of Service.
Create an account
- Open summitscribe.app and choose Get started or go to /signup.
- Enter a first name, email, and password (at least 8 characters), or use Continue with Google or Continue with Apple.
- If email confirmation is required, open the link in your inbox, then sign in on the Email verified screen.
- You land on Home (the dashboard).
Details: Accounts and sign-in.
Your first meeting
Pick one capture path:
| Where you are | What to tap |
|---|---|
| Website | Start Recording on Home |
| Android app | The record control on Home (microphone; optionally include system / meeting audio) |
| iOS app | The record control on Home (microphone; optionally include system / meeting audio via Screen Recording) |
| Windows | Record in the desktop app (microphone + system audio) |
| Mac | Record in the desktop app (microphone + system audio) |
| You already have a file | Upload on Home |
While recording you can type User Notes and add photos. Stop when the meeting ends. SummitScribe uploads the audio and runs AI processing. Your notes stay visible the whole time.
