Home and folders

Home (the dashboard) is the list of your meetings. After about thirty meetings a flat list gets noisy, so SummitScribe uses folders plus three built-in views.

Built-in views

On a phone these sit in a folder accordion above the search bar. On a wide screen they sit in the left rail.

Your folders

• + New creates a folder at the root.
• Folders can nest up to five levels (a root folder plus four children).
• Each meeting lives in at most one folder.
• Deleting a folder does not delete meetings. They return to Unfiled.

Rename, create a subfolder, or delete from the folder’s overflow menu. You will see how many meetings (including in nested folders) would be unfiled.

Every meeting card (and the meeting header) shows its location. Unfiled meetings show Unfiled. Nested folders show the full path, for example Personal -> School -> Teacher Conferences.

Move a meeting

• Desktop: drag a meeting card onto a folder or onto Unfiled.
• Any device: meeting card overflow → move to folder.
• Keyboard: Shift + Arrow cycles folder assignment where that shortcut is enabled.

Search and filter

Type in the Home search box to filter the visible list as you type. Memory (Enter on the search field in the product) is the deep search across meetings — see Memory and chat.

After AI finishes

If a meeting completes with no folder, SummitScribe may suggest the folder you use most for that template. You can accept, dismiss, or pick another. Suggestions do not run an extra AI call.

Start capture from Home

• Start Recording — browser microphone (hidden in the Android app in favor of native capture).
• Record with desktop app — appears when the site can see the local desktop agent.
• Upload — a file you already have.
• Phone Record FAB — native capture in the Android or iOS app.
