Socratic Seminar
Category: Education & Learning
Socratic seminar / literature discussion: central questions, competing interpretations, textual evidence, responses and rebuttals.
When to use this template
Use it for a seminar-style discussion built around a primary text — a novel, poem, philosophical work, historical document, or case study. The template is built to capture the interpretive moves participants make (claim, evidence, response, rebuttal), not just the topic. For a case study that centers on facts, see Case Study Analysis.

- Central questions — the open-ended questions the seminar is built around.
- Discussion summary — how the conversation actually flowed.
