When to use this template

Use it when you are capturing a research conversation — a literature-review meeting, a journal-club discussion, a research-sync call where the goal is to surface what is known, what is contested, and what to study next. Fields captured

Research question — the question the work is trying to answer.
Literature review — themes surfaced across the existing literature.
Citations — title, author, year, and source per reference.
Key findings — what the conversation established.
Methodology — how the work was (or will be) conducted.
Implications — what the findings mean for practice or further research.
Limitations — caveats and threats to validity discussed.
Open questions — unresolved questions to investigate next.
Next steps — concrete tasks with optional owner and due date.
Key takeaways — the AI's prioritized summary points.
